Holcombe returns to Late Model competition; makes Carolina Clash debut at Fayetteville

Making his Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series debut on Saturday night, Austin Holcombe joined 23-car field at Fayetteville (N.C.) Motor Speedway for the $5,000-to-win Wayne Gray Sr. Memorial.

Qualifying seventh-fastest, Holcombe faded in the 40-lap feature to finish 13th. He also competed in the Pure Stock division and finished 10th in the main event.
