Holcombe Third at Fayetteville

Austin Holcombe entered a single event over the weekend with a Saturday night trip to Fayetteville (N.C.) Motor Speedway for a $1,200-to-win 602 Modified event.

Eighteen competitors entered the event, and after registering the sixth-fastest time in hot lap / qualifying, Austin locked into the sixth-starting spot for the 20-lap feature.

Advancing three positions, he crossed the finish line third in the final behind Michael Leach and Donovan Jackson with Dustin Watkins and Case Daniels completing the Top-5 finishers.
